We often believe that we will be happy when we reach a certain goal. But after being fortunate to accomplish some of my dreams, I’ve found myself unfulfilled, uninspired, and confused as to why I don’t feel any different.

Hi all, I’m a Latina lawyer from a first-generation Mexican immigrant family. After working hard to get into and graduate from the law school of my dreams, I’ve found it difficult to adjust to living life as a lawyer. I’m slowly figuring out what being a lawyer means to me and learning to give other aspects of my identity just as much if not more attention.
I’m learning to create joy every day so that I can learn to love the life that I am grateful to live. I’m excited for you to be part of this journey and look forward to getting to know you.
